Al Fresco Cinema in Palma

Almost every evening throughout August, and until September 12th there is the outside cinema at 'Parc de Mar', the area directly in front of the Cathedral in Palma.

The large screen is displayed in the big lake with the Cathedral as its back drop, making it a beautiful place to be. There is plenty of official seating but my favourite thing to do is to take a pic-nic, a blanket and sit on the grass area above the seating. It's a great view still and normally a bit cooler in the August heat!

The cinema is free, with most of the films are in Catalan but with English subtitles, so a perfect way to test out your language skills.

Just remember to bring your popcorn too!
